I see that this message was posted quite some time ago. Hubert Latty was my mother's uncle. There are Latty's all over the world (England, Canada, USA, and Jamaica) that are definitely related. I never met my great grandparents however, the memories of my mother, aunt and uncle are very fond ones. My greatgrandfather Mr. Latty (lovingly called Papa) was a caucasian immigrant of Scottish/Irish origin. My greatgrandmother Mrs. Latty (lovingly called Mumm) was a black woman. My grandfather Mr. Thomas Latty passed away when I was 13 years old. I am currently 32. The history of this family is wonderful and rich. I know how to contact certain members of the family, so please feel free to contact me at yahoo using the ID DaFATAL1 or email me or at the email address that I am using for this service. Any help that I can offer I will be glad to do.
