No, August Laube died in 1910 in Otsego Co,MI and his spouse, Ottlea/Ottelia Wohlfahrt Laube died 1932 in Flint, Gen. Co.,MI. August father's name was Johan. Grand Aunt Salma once put on a document that she was born in (that I interpret as) Danzig (now Gdansk,Poland).

The Family Finder Index for FTM has a tree in CD#23 that says August Laube was born in Poland. That fits.
