Kathi my name is Laughton. Wernsdorfer was my married name. I wish I could figure out how to send you my files from Family Tree but I can not figure it out or even if I can do it. This is a new program 2006. Allen is also the middle name of my Uncle but I have never figured out where it comes from.He is also listed in Cen. report in Lubec, Maine am going to pull that up once more and see of he lived near Allen's. Dennysville Maine also has some Allen's listed and that is where these Laughton's came from. John Allen Laughton was my father's grandfather. He married a Susan Wilcox of Cary Maine. His father was William and his mother was Margaret Jane Daley and I can not give you any more info on them. I am stuck in that spot. I understand they came from Hans County NS. That people in that part of NS came as a group to towns in the US. A whole town so to speak but I can not find a thing in NS on them. After the Civil War this man stayed in Newmarket NH and his grave is well marked and I can not find where it is in my files. I do not know what I have done with the information yet I have been to his grave. A new hunt for me to find out what I have done with that! I have a listing of this mans children also----if you would like it. My father used to talk about some of these people. E-mail me and I will do what I can. Joan Laughton
