Searching past my grandfather-
I am generally familiar with the family history, including the departure from Germany and the general migration to Ohio.I have a much dog-eared copy of a generalized family history written in the late 1800,s but it apparently tracked the descendents of the "other" brother of Heinrich and follows their specific history in Ohio and points beyond.
My grandfather was Benjamen Franklin Lautzenheiser (though he spelled it without the third "e", perhaps to fit it on the barn (in Edon Ohio) better, and was one of ten sibs, nine of whom lived to majority.Family narrative indicates a great-uncle Ora and a great-uncle Roscoe, both of whom sustained colorful lives in the Pacific Rim prior to WWII. A rather more mild-mannered brother, John, apparently lived a quiet rural life in Edon as well.Roscoe and Ora were interned in POW camps, released to the states at war's end. However, I have little knowledge of the other sibs, nor do I know the family tree beyond B. F. Lautzenheiser.I would appreciate infill information as available.
