Hello: I miss spoken in the post before!!! William White Lawhead was the son of my fourth greatgrandmother; Jane White Lawhead who was the spouse of James White. Their grandson was James White Lawhead. Their is also a historical bio on him listing James White as his grandfather. James White's father was a John White who lived in Bucks County, PA and came to AM early in the 1700s. Sorry, about the mixup. It was very late at night when I wrote that post. Jane White Lawhead and her four children did migrate to Seneca County, around Adrian, Ohio in the middle 1800s. My fourth greatgrandfather, James White was killed by thieves; after he was killed is when Jane and her children migrated to Ohio. I believe that her brother William was one of the first postmasters of Adrian, Ohio. That most likely is why she migrated to that area. She remarried Michael Jacob Warner who was the son of John and Mary Freed Warner. Hope this helps. I also do not believe that my fourth greatgrandfather is the James that you are searching for....perhaps related?
