Luhorn(e) family in Pennsylvania
Posted by: Frances Scribner Date: December 17, 1999 at 05:49:23

My Great Grandfather was named Victor E. Luhorn. He married Mary E. Oconnor in Philadelphia, Pa. I have a family photo taken in 1934 of an Aunt Maude and Uncle John, who were living in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. at 32 High Street. I know they are some kin, but I don't know How. I also don't have their last name. I have been told that the Luhorn name was changed from Lawhorn, Lawhorne, or something similar, by two brothers who ran away from an uncle when they were teenagers.
Some of My Grandfather's brothers spelled the Lunorn name with an "e" on the end (Luhorne).
If anyone has any info, please contact me.

Frances Scribner
