Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Amziah and Sara were my maternal grandparents. They moved from northern AL about 1880 and settled in Johnson Station (Tarrant Co) TX located in what is now Arlington TX (between Ft. Worth & Dallas). Amziah's brothers William James and Thomas also moved to TX along with their wives, and the mother of all three, Margaret Jane Lawing, also accompanied them. Margaret Jane was Jethro Lawing's widow.
