Hello Doris,

The info you emailed me is great. I would love to have anything you have on the James Henry Lawing family. I don't have too much other than James Henry Lawing married Ivy Jane VanPelt from Gaston County. Do you have anymore info on this family. I do know that Ivy's mother died before she married Grandpaw Jimmy as my grandmother calls him. It was my grandfather William Torrence Lawing"s father. Ivy was his mother of course. I can't find any info on Ivy's family either. If you have anything on that family I would greatly appreciate any help. I know that Ivy and Jimmy married in Gaston County in Riverbend area. I learned from someone that Ivy's mother is buried in the Flat Rock cemetary in Gaston County. I have only been there once and didn't have time to look for her. I am not sure if Ivy's mother's name was Harriate or not. I have a listing for this name in the Flat Rock Cemetary Index. If you have any info on James Henry's siblings and parents I would appreciate you sending it to me.

Thanks so much,
Regina

PS If I have anything that you need please ask and if I have it I will surely email it to you.

Thanks again,
Regina
