Yes Please tell me how you know Samuel who married Isabelle ,was a son of this William and how you have a maiden name for Isabelle as TASSEY,cause I am a direct decendant of Samuel Lawing born between 1784&'90 in N.C. and died between 1840&'49 in Rutherford,TN. He was married to Isabella (unknown)who was born c1795 in N.C. and died between 1880&'1900 in Rutherford,TN. Her parents (unknown) were born in N.C. as she stated in 1880 census. Their only children i have found are Jane Lawing born c1819 in Warren,TN. and married Adam Elrod (this is my direct line)and William Lawing born June 1821 in Warren,TN. and married Sarah E. McEwin.
Samuel Lawing was a son of William Lawing ,this I know from the Warren,TN. Deed Book C,pages 266-268. In it William Lawing gives as a gift to Samuel Lawing his son,the Plantation in Warren,TN. on 30 May 1812.
Please reply and help me on this!:)
Truly Greatful,Nathan Lorance
