My g-g-grandfather, Patrick Lawlor, married a Mary Rigney. My father told me that they were from Wicklow. One of their sons, Timothy, my g-grandfather, was born in Dublin, around 1841. There was another son born around 1857. I do not know if there were other children. Timothy was mustered into the Vermont Volunteers in 1864. He had four daughters and one son - Mary (Mamie) Lawlor, Ellen (Nellie) Lawlor O'Connell, Julia (Lawlor) Mahoney, and Harriet (Lawlor) Walsh, and Timothy Lawlor. I do not have any precise birth locations for my ancestors from overseas.
