Hi Peggy,Re. your message on the Lawlor forum. I have just returned from Ireland and managed to trace the home of my gran and G.gran. They came from Wicklow. My great gran Mary Coogan married a William Lawlor, a shoemaker by trade. I have not yet managed to find out where William hailed from.
My reason for telling you this is Wicklow and Carlow border each other so who knows? What year are you looking at? My William and Mary married about 1869. Mary was then aged 17, I do not know Williams age then but quite young I think. As i said Carlow almost overlaps Wicklow in some places. I will let you know if i learn anything about the Lawlors which I think might be of help to you.
Kindest Regards Bridie.
