please can someone help. I am trying without sucess to trace my great grandmother Mary Lawlor, I know she was born around 1847 her father was James Lawlor, she came over to England but I don't know when, she married a Charles Atherton in Wigan in 1873. According to the U.K. census she was born in Wicklow, but another one says Dublin so I don't know. also on one of the documents I have, her name is spelt Lawler. Please can someone tell me how to go about finding her birth record.
Thanks
Freda
