Ralph, thanks again for your reply. I ordered up the Rosenallis register on LDS microfilm but with no success. The parish before it on the film was Rhode in Offaly which I noticed was close to where another elusive relative (Keavenys) lived at Croghan. To my amazement, I found the entire family on the Rhode file so I was a very happy camper. Offaly has since been put on the IFHF database and I found another generation at nearby Edenberry, taking the family back to 1800. If only I could sort out the Lawlors..... Thanks again for your help and interest.
