Buxton Lawn

I am one of the descendants of Buxton Lawn through the Layton family. According to our family records, Buxton Lawn was born of the marriage of Hannah Lightfoot and the then Prince of Wales who became George III.

I have learned through the genealogy of the George Rex family that Sheila Mitchell has written a book and done extensive research on Hannah Lightfoot. I would love to be able to read this book or at least get some information from her about Hannah and her children.

The family records mentioned in some of the discussions about Buxton Lawn are records prepared by my great grandfather Dr. Thomas Layton and are available at Tulane University Library. I have much of the information and would be pleased to share it with anyone interested.
