Thank you for your reply.. First, Do you know
why ROBERT LAWN became a LAYTON? I do have 2
marriages for ROBERT LAWN LAYTON, that were
listed in the 1875 book I have. They were
1)Suzan Gilchrist---4 children and
(2) Margaret Newman Hewes.... 5 children.
(1) Catherine Lawn L.: Buxton L.:
Thomas Layton I: and Mary Ann Henry Layton.
2) Margaret Hewes L.: Louisa Matilda L.:
Samuel Hewes L.: James Shepherd L.:
William Henry L..The only information I have
on them, other than Catherine L.L. is the
birth & death dates.

Also do you have any information on Mary Lawn?
I know Charles K. Porter died in 1824, and my
G G grandfather and his sister Mary Ann Eliza
Porter-Hampson were the only surviving children.

Do you know what happened to Mary Lawn, after
the death of Charles K. Porter?

I do have the birth & death dates of the other
children of Buxton Lawn & Mary Dawson as listed
in the booklet I have. but little else.

Do you know anything about Mary Dawson-Lawn.

Thanks......Selma
