According to my greatgrandfather's book of Pike Co. Ms. history, I am an ancester of Buxton Lawn. Although the book is only a history book, he mentions Buxton,Mary Dawson, and all of the children you describe except for 2. It seems Buxton did return to England and died there. 3 of his children went to New Orleans to meet their father on his return, but he had died in England and they never saw him again. Would like to exchange info. My ggrandfather seemed to believe that there was a connection to GeorgeIII, through Buxton. How many times have you heard that one? Thanks, Shelley Morgan
