Hi Shelley.

Was happy to get your message.
I have just started researching the Conerly side of my family. I will try to get a copy of the Conerly book by the Lamptons you mentioned. I just got a reprint of the book "Pike County, Mississippi" by Great Grandfather Luke Ward Conerly. It is very interesting.
Henri (Henry) Saucier, your Grandmothers Grandfather, was also my Great Grandfather.
Ruby Thompson of Tuscaloosa, was my fathers sister. Our family was very close to Aunt Ruby, and we visited her often. I remember as a youngster, stopping in York, on the way to Aunt Ruby's, to visit my fathers Aunt who lived there. I think she was Aunt Ida. Do you know of her? She was a sister of Luke Wards, and lived in a large white house on highway 11, across from the coca-cola bottling plant.
There are only 4 of us grand children of Grandfather Alfred and Grandmother Clara, we have 5 other cousins from Grandfather Alfreds 2nd marriage to Grandmother Bessie.
All of Dad's brothers and sisters are gone now.
If you have any information on the Conerly book and where
to purchase it, could you send it to me?

May God's blessings be with you and your family.
Wayne
