I would be interested in your Laymon genealogy. Not sure if we are same branch or not. My GG Grandfather Mitchell Laymon m. Elizabeth "Jane" Cheek in AL in 1861. They both died in TN. I don't see a Jeremiah Layman in my history but found it interesting that you have both Layman & Cheeks.
