Just want to post the info I now have on My Layman family. I have been posting on Laymon & Layman I now know the spelling is Layman.
Jeremiah Layman was born 1805 in Ky. He married Mary E. Lnu they had the following children:
Scott
Taylor
Soloman Cligid B. 1854
Jake
I only have info on Solomon ( My greatgrandfather)
It is thought that he moved to Ar.after being in Missouri for a short time. He married Martha Stophal Mayers (Mattie) now sure if in Missouri or Ar.They had 10 Children 3 sons & 7 daughters. Soloman & Mattie died at a young age that left the young children to be raised by the older children and pther family.
I have info on these children if any of this may fit in anyones line or hope maybe someone can add info.
