Steve,

Jacob Laymon was my, let's see, great-great-great grandfather. My g-g grandfather, Tavenor, got into Highland County, Ohio, near which much of the family stayed. Tavenor produced his own crop of children, one of whom was James, who produced Charles Pulse Laymon. Charles Pulse Laymon lived in and around Cincinnati, and was married twice. His second marriage, to Sarah Jane Young, produced Charles Alva Laymon, who wound up living in South Jersey, and produced me and my brothers, Charles, Jim and Steve. I'm hoping my brother Jim will post information here about siblings and dates, as he has the larger computer.

I'd also like to find out what you learn about John and Joseph.

Best,
Rob Laymon
