UPDATE: Recently acquired info: Correct spelling is LAYMON.
Given name: Ottice (aka “Otta”). Ottice LAYMON b. 2/5/1874 in Lynchburg, Highland Co, OH, daughter of James Monroe LAYMON b. 1847 Brown Co, OH, and Hattie E FISHER b. 1853 Clinton Co, OH. Ottice married Elmer Scott KING 1899 Highland Co, OH. Now have info on LAYMON ancestry back four generations to Jacob LAYMON b. 1778 in VA. Jacob’s first children were born in TN and KY. Later children (after 1812) in Highland Co OH. Thereafter, the LAYMONs remained in Highland Co.

Other LAYMON names in this line include: Tavner, Estus, William Charles, Emily Jane, Melvina, Florence, Silas Sinclair, John, Ann, Elizabeth, Laodica, Nancy, Joseph, Mary, and Amos.
