Scott,
Rob Laymon here. I once read a letter from you grandmother, never mailed, written on behalf of her brother Tavner, to a woman he met in New Mexico. I would like to find out more about her.
Concerning Charles Pulse: I believe you have him named William Charles, in your literature. I am pretty certain there was no William Charles, as Charles Pulse Laymon's daughter, Claribel Laymon, is still alive, and has spoken at length of all the other people in your list, but no William Charles.
Clara has told me about your grandmother, who she called Ottie, and I have always wondered what Ottie was short for. Unfortunately, Clara never knew very much about her, and so could not tell me. I would love to find out anything you might know.
Myself and three brothers are the grandsons of Charles Pulse Laymon, son of James M. and Harriet Laymon. So you and I are distant cousins.
