In regards to Rueben League and Emma austin.
I have read an account of a black slave adopted by Rueben League in one of the messages posted in this forum, and wonder if this adopted slave may have been of the ancestrial line inwhich my family achieved our surname, LEAGUE.My father (Felix League, born oct 16, 1922) hails from smith county tennessee. He, and his brother, Robert, are the sons of Henry League and Lucille ( Can't recall maiden name).Any information that anyone may be able to provide regarding the adopted slave of Rueben and emma would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance: Robert S league
