Hi Beth--My name is Philip Learn Knoll and I live in Orange,California. In 1970 I came to the Learn reunion at Eurana Park,Wethersly,Pa. While there, I shared my book of remembrance with Wayne Learn. He was kind enough to lend me his book and I took it home to California and xeroxed it and mailed it back to him . A little later, he and his wife came to California and spent the night with us--I believe in the early 70's. He was an airline pilot as I recall. Over the years we wrote a few times and talked by phone a couple of times. Can you give me his current e-mail address and regular phone number. My address is 2215 E.Adams Avenue,Orange,California 92867. My ph# is (714) 633-8734. I am the one who gave him the data on the Johan Georg Loehnert data arriving in Philadelphia Sep.1736 on the ship HARLE. Look in the book by Strassburger and Hincke Pennsylvania German Ancestors. The ship sailed up the Rhine out of Essenheim but I don't know where Johan was from. Tell Wayne I am retired after 40 yrs. of school band and orchestra directing and I am on staff at our Family History Library here in Orange. I would love to hear from him. If you go to your local Family History Library and get on their computor(free-open to public) you can find my Learn data on the Ancestral File and IGI. My grandfather was Peter Learn-born 1867 in Welland Co.,Ontario,Canada. I'll close for now. I was hoping someone had gone further on the search in Germany. Let me know the Learn Family Associations e-mail when you get it. I believe Wayne and I are 3rd cousins. Later cousin--Phil
