New Addition to the family

I am Stephen Lester Leas son of John David and Connie (Kenagy) Leas, Brother to Angie (Hamilton) Leas, Johnny, Ricky, Andrew, Kimberley (Ledington), Patrick Leas.

I was going through and thought I might update some of my info.

I Enlisted in the Navy in 1994 and currently serve as A Chief Operations Specialist onboard “USS DECATUR DDG-73".
She is currently deployed in the Middle East. If all goes well I will retire from active duty in 2015 with 20 years of faithful service to god and country.

Together with my Wife Jessica (Who also served in the Navy for 8 years), I live in San Diego, CA.

There are few new things to add I think. As the subject line says there is soon to be a new addition to my little family Jessica and I are getting ready to welcome in our first baby sometime in early December of this year
(Caitlin Ohanna Leas). But wait that’s not all. My youngest brother Patrick is due to have his first child in mid January of next year (Not sure of the sex yet thus no name).

I was so pleased to find this site I have always been interested in the family history but never really had the time to research it. I am most pleased to see that we had members of the family serve in both the Revolution and Civil Wars.

After all this I have only 1 question if anyone can answer.

Did we have anyone serve in WWI/WWII?

Thanks again to all

Stephen Lester Leas

P.S. Let me know if I can help with any research I will do all I can.
