Stephen: thanks for the service to this country that you and your wife have/are giving. God bless you and keep you safe. I am descended from Daniel Leas Sr (1752PA-1830 OH) and Lydia Worley (1757 1825 PA); thru son DanielLeas Jr(1778-1856) and Elizabeth Matthews; thru son George Leas (1806 OH -1876IN) and Lydia Crane Leas (1870-1893 IN); thru son Abner Leas (1838-1911) and Lydia Patten Leas (1842-1885); thru daughter Myrta Leas(1874-1902)Kirkpatrick and Ora Kirkpatrick (1871-1951) and son Frank Kirkpatrick (1901-1980).

You asked about WWI and WWI servicemen. Yes, there were many fine Leas men and spouses of Leas women who served honorably in WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict and since then. Many served in the US Navy as enlisted men and officers, by brother in submarine corps. Those living continue to support this good country and pray for conservative leadership to once again keep this Republic safe and strong. Julia Kirkpatrick McKinney
