Hi Kathryn - looks to me like you're the gal to talk to when you have a question about the LEAS line...& I'm in a real muddle right now.
I've traced my granddau's line back to John HOLLOPETER not Joseph but John HOLLOPETER & Mary FAHNESTOCK...but that's not the only problem...everyone lists Mary's birth date as 1777...as their (the HOLLOPETER'S) oldest child was b in 1788 this makes Mary an eleven yr old mother!!!
My John & Mary (FAHNESTOCK) HOLLOPETER were m ca 1786 in York Co, PA & unless my Mary is not the d/o Daniel & Ellen (LEAS) FAHNESTOCK her b would have to have been nearer 1767 than 1777???
You reckon I have the wrong parents for Mary or the wrong b date???...any & all help appriciated - Thank you
