I am Robert David Leas, only grandson of Lucretia Clay Leas. The correct spelling of my grandmother is LUCRETIA. She died in 1932 and is buried in Elkhart, Indiana. I have little informtion about her, however I have some phots near the time of her death. She committed suicide after a long history of depression. My father spent much time in his late teens caring for his mother at their home on Cassopolis Street in Elkhart during periods of her depression. My father was married to Ina M. (Abney) Leas at the time of my grandmother's death in 1932. She died the year before my birth. I did not learn of the nature of her death until about ten (10) years ago. It was one of those closeted mysteries of the family. I have had three major episodes of depression myself and can trace the illness through four generations of the Leas family. If you have any further information on Lucretia, I would apapreciate a follow-up.The Clay family is difficult to research with so little information, however I am in Fort Wayne where good information is readily available on geneology.Robert David Leas
