The Lower Bermudian Church was Lutheran but German Reformed also held meetings there and ministers of either Church baptized into which ever Church the parents requested. Most of the time the Leas (Lies) appear to be German Reformed but there are long periods of time when the name does not appear in any church of York or Adams counties, even though land records show that they are there.
