X, entry 205, page 176-177 (Winston County, Mississippi) 4 July 1839, Isaac Leatherwood (Winston Co., Miss.) have appointed Miles Leatherwood (Tuskaloosa Co., Ala.) my Attorney to recover and receive of William Young and John B Leatherwood, Executors of the Last Will and Testament of John Leatherwood deceased (Spartanburg District) any sum or sums of money due me from the Estate of said John Leatherwood deceased. Witness: Joseph P. Crosly. Signed Isaac Leatherwood. Witness Oath on 4 July 1839, at Louisville, by Joseph P. Crosley, Clerk of he Probate County of Winston Co., Mississippi.
