Charles "Frenchie" LeBoeuf--D-Day veteran

In the late '6o's my mother, Hazel Gill, married Charles "Frenchie" Leboeuf in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was her second husband. Frenchie died in Watson, Louisiana in the early '70's. Frenchie was a much decorated veteran who had gone ashore with the allied forces on d-Day and had fought in much of the campaign in Europe. I was quite young when he died so remember almost nothing of his army service or what medals he had received. If any one has any information about his service in WWII, I would appreciate his or her sending this to me. I was too young to appreciate or even to be interested in what he had done but would now like to know more. Thanks, JGH
