I noticed your looking for information on the Labaff family of Fort Covington. Do you know in the 1850 census they are listed as Labar.
Do you know where this family originated from.
My gggrandfather is living with Charles Labar in 1850 I believe his wife Betsey is my gggrandfather's mother. The kids are listed as Gardner which was actually Gordon possibly Godin?
Are Labaffs actually Leboeuf ???
Any help appreciated
Teena
