Patti, I am doing some genealogy research for a friend whose 2nd Great Grandmother is Blanche LeBrun b. April 1866 in Guadaloupe. She married abt. 1883 in Baltimore, MD to
Samuel Barry b. Aug 1858 in MD. This Blanche LeBrun can be found in the 1880 Baltimore Census with her father, Alphonsus LeBrun age 40 yrs, listed as a Dentist, and born in Normandy, both parents born in Norm. Wife listed as Emma O. Lebrun age 24 yrs. born in MD as were both parents
(I am assuming that Emma was his 2nd wife). Shown with them are 3 daughters, Nadine age 21, born in Porto Rico, Blanche age 16 yrs, born in Guadaloupe and Irma LeBrun age 13 yrs, born in Guadaloupe.

Looking at this census Alphonsus probably married abt. 1858 in Porto Rico (or Puerto Rico). If this is the same Alphonse Petit leBrun that you mention in your info, he would have been born in 1840 rather than 1830. I am looking for information on Blanche LeBrun's husband, Samuel Barry.
