What a surprise hearing from you.
The Richard LeBrun that I was searching for I finally found. We served together on the USS Oregon City CA 122 during the final months of WW II. There is a Web Site on the Oregon City. When I visited it one time I was surprised to see a Picture of Dick and myself put there by his daughter.
I traced him to Louisana, do not remember excactly where but was several years ago. I had hoped to recapture a few memories, but Dick did not seem to want to keep in touch. There was another of our group by the name of Dick Fulmer. I could not trace him down but it seems LeBrun had been in contact with him at some time. When I asked for an address for Fulmer I never heard anymore from him.
I can send you a picture of Dick and myself if you do not find it on the Orgeon City web site. I would need your e-mail address. I think Dick joined the Navy on the West Coast if memory serves me, which most times it does not.
