Rene G. Lebrun, Nashua NH 1928-2009
Rene G. Lebrun, 80, of Nashua passed away Tuesday March 24, 2009 at the Courville Nursing Home.

Rene was born in Nashua on May 14, 1928, a son of the late Theophile & Delima (Deschenes) Lebrun. He was the husband of Theresa (Leblond) Lebrun of Nashua.

Rene was a lifelong Nashua resident and he was educated in local schools. Prior to his retirement, Rene had been employed by Bronze Craft for 48 years. In his early years, he had been a champion weight lifter. His accomplishments as a weight lifter include 66 first place finishes, 25 second place finishes and 1 third place finish. He also placed 3rd on two separate occasions in the Mr. NH Physique contest. In one New England contest, Rene set 3 records in one day. Rene also completed a Real Estate course in 1963. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a devoted husband, dedicated father and a great friend. Rene was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church.

Besides his wife, Rene is survived by: two daughters, Lorraine Priest and her husband Michael of Westford, MA and Diane Brousseau and her husband Ronald of Nashua; two sons, Richard Lebrun of Hudson and Michael Lebrun of Nashua; ten grandchildren, Nicole Feliciano, Angela Lebrun, SPC. Jason Lebrun, Melissa Escabi, Kimberly Brousseau, Robert Sheridan, Ryan Lebrun, A1C Kristen Brousseau, Alex Lebrun and Timothy Lebrun; five great-grandchildren, Trevor Mackey, Alanna Mackey, Dominick Lema, Madison Lebrun and Kaitlyn Lebrun; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Courville Nursing home for their exceptional, professional care & support to Rene and his family.
