Any Violin Makers in the Lebrun Family?

I just purchased a violin from the internet. The violin is being shipped from Port Rowan, Ontario from an antique shop. The violin came from an old man who collected violins. He died and his estate went to this antique shop.

The label inside reads "LEBRUN". It is the most beautiful and different violin I have ever seen. I tried to look up Lebrun violin makers in Canada and the US and turned up with nothing.

I would love to know the history behind this violin. If you would like to see pictures of this, just email me at

Thanks in advance.
