I am actually looking for the mother of John Lechman. She was a MICHAEL and in 1778 was living with her sister Mary & her husband Terrence Quinn in Dry Valley PA. when the Indians attacked. Mary & family went one way, the sister the other. It was 50 years before they found each other. No first name is mentioned in historical accounts but she is termed as mother of John Lechman proprietor of premises in the Mahanoy valley. I found a John Lechman in Butler co PA census. Does anyone have information on this John Lechman? Any help appreciated. Margaret Calvin
