My grandmother was a Lechman. They come over on a ship from Germany back in 1910.She was married to a Jacob Puhl.They had aboy Franz Puhl over in Germany he was 11months old at the time.They settled in Britt, Iowa. They were farmers and worked the beet fields. They had eight children. There was a John Lechman Dora Lechman. Albert Lechman Lawrence Lechman, Elizabeth Lechman, That was my moms mom.There probably was more but thats all I can think of right now. They were all brothers and sisters. I have more on birthdays and deaths plus alot more on the Puhl side. this is the german spelling of Puhl. It is spelled Poole, then Poohl.
