Great to hear from a family member after 7 years of research !
Dr. Leckie was first married to Myriam Hearn, with whom he had four children: Olivia, Vyola (my grandmother), Walter and Sylvia. Note that the first two had their names picked from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. As far as I know, Olivia staid in France (Paris), and her descendants also. Walter emigrated to Argentina, where his family still lives, and Vyola and Sylvia ended up in Brazil, where they married and settled. I only know the Brazilian branch of the family.
Sylvia was first married at the age of 15 to a French army officer and they lived in Western Africa (Ivory Coast + Congo). She became a widow during WWI. She later wrote a book named "The first white woman in the African jungle".
I have sent you an invitation to enter the Leckie Lobo site at myfamily.com, where you will see photos of Dr. Leckie and all these cousins, and a family tree, plus some material on the Tárrega connection.
I'll send you some more info per e-mail.
