Hello again, Simon
as well as any info you are able to give me about John Leckie ltd, I'd be vey pleased to have some on the leckie families in BC. I have extracts form Vancouver city directories, which another member of the Leckie list sent me; she tells me that all the Leckies therein are probably related, but I recognise only one, Mary Leckie, who was Air Marshall Leckie's sister, another of my grandfather's cousins. So I'd welcome some help in sorting out who is who.

Re Leckie house - there is a letter written by Bonnie Prince Charlie from Leckie house, to the provost of Glasgow asking for money and as many troops as he can spare to support the march south, in kelvingrove museum and art gallery in Glasgow. Saw it in Jan.

Best wishes
susan
