Can anyone add to this at all?
John Leckie of Newlands (my 6G grandfather) married Mary (or Susanna) Anderson and had Susan (1686-1720 who m Sir Francis Dunlop) and Margaret (d before her father, probably, married Daniel or Donald Campbell, merchant of Glasgow).
John's father was another John (ca1632-1698 also a Glasgow merchant) said to be descended from Leckie of Wester Catter, Dumbarton.
There, I'm stuck!
