I have been diging around cyberspace and found something on a site that states that the surname Leckie comes from Stirlingshire/
Scottish English Border Ridings and that the Leckie ancestral roots go back to Strathclyde Briton origins. Any comment please email me please. I was adopted by Leckie's whom came from Bellshill, Scotland and his father was born in Holytown to parents John Leckie and Sarah Lynass. She was born Sanqahaur, Scotland and they'd married in the Gorbals District of Glasgow.
