Aloysius Lederer, b.~1850 Baden(?), Germany

I am seeking information concerning my grandfather's and great-grandfather's family. Aloysius Lederer (GGF) married Edewine (Edwina) Berger (b. 1850-1) and they had 6 children: Elisa (Elizabeth), b. c. 1880; August (Gus), b. c. 1881; Albert (my grandfather), b. 1882; Alois, b. c. 1883; Otto, b. c. 1886; and Leo, b. c. 1887. Edewine and the children immigrated to America, arriving at Ellis Island NY on 16 May 1892 on La Gascogne out of Le Harve, France. Aloysius was not with them and must have arrived before them, presumably sometime between 1887 and 1892. He died within the year after his family arrived. My grandfather said he was born in Baden, but whether this was the state or town of Baden-Baden, I do not know. The family settled in Meriden CT, but are not listed in the 1900 census. I would appreciate any further information about these people, their ancestors, or their descendants. Thank you, Al Bennett
