Henrietta Leeman is my great grandmother. She is buried in Brownville, Maine. On her tombstone it says she was born April 9, 1855 but that doesn't agree with the census information I have found. She died June 23, 1906. In the 1881 census I found her (22) with her husband George London (28) and her daughters Maud (4) and Mary (1). On the same page of the census is a John Leeman and May Leeman, 67 and 63 respectively, and a Jane Leeman, female that is 16. Below them is a Wilard (male, 28) and a Mary (female, 19). I have been told by descendants of the Leeman's in Maine that Wilard was Henrietta's brother. I haven't found any solid evidence but I think this census page is quite revealing. I don't know the name of the city where the census was taken. I know - it was quite stupid not to write it down - but we were in a hurry when we found it. (We visited New Brunswick this summer and went to the archives in Fredrickson.) All I know is that the information is on page 26 and the enumerator is a Hiram ..... If you find anything else please contact me. I am also trying to find a solid link to the parents and other relatives. My grandmother was Henrietta's daughter, Minnie Hildred. I have all of her children's names if you are interested.
