You must be a relation. Pooler is a very common name in our Leemans. It comes from Captain Robert Pooler of Tyross, killed (London)Derry 1689.

Both Leeman and Pooler families may have been from European Jewish families that converted to Christianity around 1600.

Unfortunately I have the family tree in Australia and I am in Morocco. I will back in Australia in December.

Helen Apperley provded me with most details but she hasn't been in touch recently.
