Hi Dan,
I'm not saying the information from last year was of no use. It was indeed. However, I have not been able to verify a Jacob Solomon Leaman born 1761/62 in PA nor a marriage to Catherine Martin. Do you know where your correspondent found this information? As you remember, the Ontario Census, listed Solomon Leeman born in NY. Other informatin I have mentions the Catskill NY area. The Leemans seemed to have married into the Babcock family which emigrated from NY to Canada. This has always led me back to the NY area.
