This may not be relevant, but there was a whole chain of Samuel Leeman or Leman mostly in Charlestown Mass. Starting, as far as I can tell, with Samuel who married Mary Longley in Charlestown 30 July 1666; he died about 1699. His son Samuel, born 1667, probably in Charlestown, married Margaret Hutchinson 20 Feb. 1689/90 in Charlestown but moved to Reading. Their son Samuel, b. in Charlestown 16 Aug. 1691, died Hollis NH 1756, married Mary Bryant in Reading October 31, 1716. They had a son Samuel b. 1721 in Reading (actually, probably in the part which laterbecame Wakefield. That's where I lose track of them; the last Samuel's sister Margaret "possibly" married Adford Jaquith about 1735.
Of course, any of the other sons of any of the previous Samuels could have had yet another Samuel, etc. Or it could be another line altogether. Even if this is the right line, there are a couple of generations not accounted for.
