I am interested in your William Leeman of Granville Co. NC. I found your William on the 1790 Granville Co. NC. census with no data listed for his family. I am also tracking a Lamon/Leming born in TN. with the first name RANSOM shown on AL. census records. I am wondering if the given name RANSOM might be from the RANSOM surname you list as a collateral line of this William Leeman.
