My name is Gilles Bourdet, I am looking for information or relative from my ancester LEEMAN.
From what I know my ancester came from Europe to Australia either early 1800/1840 to australia or 1841/1870.
I also know that he was a sea-man(or Captain); that he did visit the then New-Hebrides(now Vanuatu, in the South West Pacific) and had a boy in 1870, with a local girl (those are my ancesters..), he then went back sailing. The other relevant information is that he was from the Presbyterian Church and hadfor origin either England, Irland or Dush... I await any information. kindregards, gilles
