Henry Leib, a son of Paul Leib and Magadeline Helm, was born on August 23, 1844 in Edenville, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and died on Feb. 21, 1923 in Hamilton Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and was buried in Salem Lutheran "White" Church Cemetery in North Marion, Guilford Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Henry Leib married Sarah C. Weaver in 1868 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. His wife Sarah C. Weaver was born on Aug. 9, 1847 in Marion, Guilford Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and died on September 12, 1922 in Hamilton Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Their children all born in Hamilton Township, Franklin Co., Pa. were: 1. Ann Mrytle, 2. Christian W., 3. Ida May, 4. Mary E., 5. Margaret E., 6. Walter Edward, 7. Susan J., 8. Samuel, 9. Harry and 10. Sarah C.

Henry Leib's sister Mary Leib (b. 1841) married Jeremiah Martin. Their daughter Victoria Agnes Martin (b. 1869 d. 1927) married first Peter Lensbower in 1889 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania and married second Charles Edward Lensbower (Peter's young brother) in 1900 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Peter Lensbower and Victoria Agnes Martin were my husband, Gary Gilbert Lensbower's great-grandparents. My husband Gary was born in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pa. His father, George Henry Lensbower was born in Marion, Guilford Township, Franklin County, Pa.

Paul Leib was born in 1802 in Germany and died after 1860 in Hamilton Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. His wife Magadeline Helm was born in 1806 in Germany and died after 1860 in Hamilton Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. They married in 1836 in Franklin County, Pa. Their children (all born in Hamilton Township, Franklin Co. Pa.): 1. Adam, b.1838, Mary, b.1841, 3. Henry, b. 1844, 4. Peter, 1848 and 5. Elizabeth, b. 1851.

Hamilton Township is part of town of Chambersburg in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Your grandmother said about that Walter was born near Chambersburg, Pa. Your Walter was the first cousin of my husband Gary's great-grandmother, Victoria Agnes Martin Lensbower. I would like to have the names of your Walter and Theaetta May Cook Leib's descendants. Also I am more than happy to share with you about the Leib family. I found some census list on the Leib families in Franklin Co. Pa. The name Leib was mispelling as Leap, Leab, Lieb, Leip, etc
